Local Food Cooperative Software

The Jist: This software operates on an order cycle instead of an “always open” system. Producers/farmers can log in and add products to their product catalog at anytime for sale. During a designated time, cooperative members place orders.

Changes from v1.5.1 to v1.5.2

  1. All Previous Unfinalized Invoices

The "All Previous Unfinalized Invoices" on the admin page now also shows invoices that have not, for some reason (namely, a bug that has not yet been identified), been saved or have been saved improperly.

  2. Producer invoices

Formatting change on producer invoice pages to more closely match one-another.

  3. Producer applications

Producer applications are once-again copied to the applicant as a confirmation email.

  4. Producer form

Producer form was changed to submit email copy in both text and html format. For some reason gmail (and maybe some others) show empty content when only html-format is sent.

  5. Bugs fixed

    Some bugs were fixed:

    • Backslashes on the membership form resulting from escaped characters have been stripped
    • Changed hard-coded "Co-op" on admin/index.php to reflect configured organization type.
    • Fixed path to "Out" checkmark image for producer invoices.
    • Fixed product pricing to reflect if buyer is a regular customer or an institutional buyer.
    • Fixed broken links on main member page for producer labels.
    • Several minor corrections to html markup.

New Features in v1.5.2

  1. Institutional (Wholesale) Membership List (Full Info)

Link from admin page gives information on institutional members.

  2. Foodstamp code

Re-activation of code on the "Edit Product Screen" that allowed administrators to identify foodstamp information for products (retail/non-staple, retail/staple, non-food).

  3. Producer activation

An automated email is now sent to producers when their producer application has been activated and they are approved to begin adding products.

  4. Activate Delivery Locations

Link from admin page allows delivery locations (codes) to be made inactive, active, or standby. Standby prevents locations from being selected for ordering but retains their listing on the locations page.

  5. Institutional member functions

Institutional members, when logged in, now have access to a listing of wholesale-only products in a separate section of the main membership area.
